Adam Gwon

ADAM GWON is a composer and lyricist whose latest musical, Ordinary Days, is currently making its NYC premiere at Roundabout Theatre Company. His other musicals include the upcoming The Boy Detective Fails (book: Joe Meno), Bernice Bobs Her Hair (book/lyrics: Julia Jordan) and Ethan Frome (book: Michael Ruby). His work has been seen at Primary Stages, York Theatre, Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre (Arlington), Ars Nova, NAMT, NYMF, New Dramatists, American Music Theatre Project, ASCAP/Disney Workshop, and many others. Adam has been honored with the Fred Ebb Award for Excellence in Musical Songwriting, the ASCAP Harold Adamson Award, the MAC John Wallowitch Award, and a MAC award nomination for best song, as well as commissions from Signature Theatre (Arlington), South Coast Repertory, Broadway Across America, and the EST/Sloan Project. Adam has been a fellow at the MacDowell Colony and the Dramatists Guild, and is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
