Drew Gasparini

Drew Gasparini is the recipient of John Lennon Songwriter's award. He has contributed music and lyrics to Broadway South Africa's annual gala, Cait Doyle's Hot Mess In Manhattan (for which he wrote "The Text Message Song"). He has twice been the featured composer for both New York Theater Barn and Contemporary Classics New Voices, as well as Scott Alan's Monday Night New Voices. Drew is a member of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop for composers/lyricists, and has written music and lyrics for "Circles", "Above My Pay Grade" (commissioned by Holt Learning), and "Crazy, Just Like Me" (2009 San Francisco Theater Festival, 2009 NAMT showcase, 2010 reading starring Matt Doyle, 2011 NYMF).
