Joseph and David Zellnik

David (lyrics) and Joe (music) wrote their first song together at 11 and 13, respectively. More recently, their musical Yank! debuted off-Broadway in 2010, earning Best Musical and Best Score nominations from the Drama Desk, the Outer Critics Circle and a Best Musical nomination from the Lortels. Previously, Yank! also had award-winning runs at NYMF, Brooklyn's Gallery Players and San Diego's Diversionary Theatre. An Original Off-Broadway cast album was released in 2014 by PS Classics. Joe and David's previous musicals include First in Flight: The Wright Brothers for TheatreworksUSA (national tour 2003 – 4) and City of Dreams (2002; two songs are included on Alison Fraser's album "Men In My Life"). David's plays include Orville and Wilbur Did It!, Hunters and Thieves, Let a Hundred Flowers Bloom and Serendib, which premiered off-Broadway at EST in 2007. Outside of music, Joe is co-author of two Libby Seale mystery novels, and is currently working on a new mystery series called Musicals Are Murder.
