Drew Fornarola

Drew Fornarola is a songwriter and playwright from New York City. Film: DreamWorks’ VeggieTales: Noah’s Ark (Original Songs). Theater: Straight (2016 New York Times Critics’ Pick, translated into several languages for productions around the world); Claudio Quest (winner of six NYMF Awards for Excellence and a 2017 Ovation Award Nominee for Best Score); Shrek the Halls: The Musical (DreamWorks Theatricals), Molly Shannon’s Tilly The Trickster (Atlantic Theater Company, collaboration with Saturday Night Live’s Molly Shannon), Thucydides (Winner of the Samuel French Play Festival), College: The Musical (MTVu Award Winner, NYMF Award for Lyrics), Awesome Allie: First Kid Astronaut (TRW, preparing for an upcoming national tour) and Uncle Pirate (Samuel French). Drew has headlined concerts at Lincoln Center, 54 Below, Broadway au Carre (Paris), London Theater Workshop and Bar Fedora in Los Angeles among others.  He is a member of the Broadway Dreams Foundation faculty, and teaches master classes at colleges around the country.  Drew is the co-artistic director and host of Madame’s Soiree, a critically acclaimed “avant-garde variety show” that plays monthly in the West Village.
