Meet the Bloggers: Nick Morrison
The Green Room is thrilled to introduce you to our newest bloggers who are joining us this spring. For the rest of the week, you can get to know them through the latest installments of our Meet the Bloggers series.
Name: Nick Morrison
What do you do outside of blogging? I work as a production assistant in London’s glittery/rainy West End. It’s incredibly glamorous and often involves carrying heavy things down Shaftesbury Avenue.
Favorite musical: That’s an impossible question and you know it.
What are you interested in blogging about this spring? I am very keen to explore disparities in the output of US and UK musical theatre writers, the value we ascribe to new writing, the worth of flop musicals and who is the greatest high belter – asking the big questions, I think.
What are your non-theater interests? I love to read (I’m in two book clubs because I’m one of the cool kids), avoid prolonged periods of not being sat down, and I have adopted a ‘come one, come all’ approach to the world of reality television.
Favorite contemporary MT song: My favourite TODAY is “What Say You Meg?” from The Last Ship, sung here beautifully by Aaron Lazar.
