Recommended Male Audition Song: I WON’T HAVE TO ANYMORE

“I Won’t Have To Anymore” is an edgy, uptempo, pop/rock song that shows range and tells a story. It’s everything that most contemporary musical theater auditions would need you to show and it’s what they would want to see. After sitting through hours of ballads, having an emotionally driven uptempo and edgy story song will make them pay attention more to what you have to offer in the room.

Recommended Female Audition Song: HOME AWAY FROM HOME

“Home Away From Home” is an incredibly dynamic and emotional song that can give you a strong arc and journey as well as show huge range and dynamic control. And it’s not done nearly as much as others in my catalogue.

Favorite Audition Tip: Go in to the room and be yourself. They need to know who you are and if your pretending to be something you’re not, you won’t give them any sense of who you actually are.
