In Scotland, PA—a re-telling of Shakespeare’s Macbeth set in rural 1970s Pennsylvania—17-year-old Malcolm hates his father but loves football. When police detective Peg McDuff arrives from Harrisburg to solve the mystery of his father’s death, angry Malcolm becomes a prime suspect. But once McDuff gets Malcolm to open up, he reveals his alibi—and the real reason why he loves football.
