Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, among Playbill.com’s 12 “Contemporary Musical Theatre Songwriters You Should Know,” won the Richard Rodgers Award, the John Wallowitch Award for Songwriters under 40, and the $100,000 Kleban Prize. Carner & Gregor songs have been performed on all seven continents--including Antarctica, and have been nominated for 11 MAC Awards for “Best Song” or “Best Comedic Song.” Their musical Unlock'd played Off-Broadway at the Duke Theatre as well as Houston’s Queensbury Theatre and more.
