Peter Mills is a composer/lyricist whose shows include Illyria, The Taxi Cabaret, The Flood, and Golden Boy of the Blue Ridge—original cast album on iTunes. He has written lyrics for IRON CURTAIN, (book by Susan DiLallo, music by Stephen Weiner) and Marco Polo (music by Deborah Abramson). Peter won the Cole Porter Award, the Kleban Prize for lyrics, the Ebb Award, the Richard Rodgers New Horizons Award, a grant from the Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation, and received two Drama Desk Award nominations for his show The Pursuit of Persephone (Best Music and Best Orchestrations). He has an MFA from NYU’s Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program. Most recently, he wrote lyrics for The Honeymooners (Paper Mill Playhouse).
