In Scotland, PA—a re-telling of Shakespeare’s Macbeth set in rural 1970s Pennsylvania—ambitious couple Mac and Pat have made their dreams come true, rising from lowly greasy spoon employees to the owners of a wildly successful burger shop. But their road to success has not exactly been on the up-and-up. When they have the chance to grow their ambitions even more—a franchise!—Pat gets cold feet with police detective McDuff on their tail.
