With the cold weather drifting in and pumpkin spice lattes on our lips, it’s hard not to think about the first holiday of the fall season: Halloween. And with Halloween comes the number one google search*: What costume to wear.

Of course, you can always go as a nurse or football player, but really, you’re a musical theatre fan – and a new musical theatre fan at that, so those sound cliche and boring. Also, #NMTcharacters are much more awesome! A lot of these characters are 20somethings in the 21st century, so it might be hard to find someone that would have a distinctive costume. However, there are #NMTshows that have costumes that really define that character.

Whether a male, female, duo, trio, or more, there are options for you. Here’s some to get you started:
