The Boy Who Danced on Air is a love story that takes place between two dancing boys in Afghanistan (Paiman and Feda). Paiman and Feda had planned to run away together but Feda begins to have doubts as the threat of violence from the boys’ masters intensifies. Paiman, however, is determined to continue on with the plan and tells Feda that it’s Feda who taught him how to have the resolve and confidence that he’s now exhibiting.
